Ancillary Retail Expo Launches with Dynamic Speakers, Bustling Exhibit Hall

Daytona Beach, Florida —  The Ancillary Retail Expo, produced by InterFace Conference Grou#AncillaryRetailExpop and Ancillary Retail magazine, took place on January 14 – 15, attracting the most active specialty leasing, pop-up, marketing, property management and retail executives in the industry.

The two-day event featured several well-attended panels focusing on topics such as leasing outdoor centers, maximizing local sponsorships, pop-up marketing strategies and converting e-commerce tenants to brick-and-mortar tenants.

Attendees took advantage of deal-making opportunities in the exhibit hall where more than 40 booths displayed a variety of products ranging from massage chairs, CBD oils and new vending concepts as well as shopping center developers promoting available locations. Additional networking opportunities included the opening night cocktail reception and industry roundtables during lunch on Tuesday.

“A show like this is much-needed for the industry and we’re thrilled with the meetings and connections we made over the last two days,” said Lori McGhee, Vice President, Specialty Leasing with Taubman.

Maggie Pawelek, Specialty Leasing Manager with Pacific Retail Capital Partners, agreed: “This event was great for networking. I can’t wait until next year.”

Many thanks to conference sponsors Innovative Vending and C.S. Hudson
